
Kyle Cannon is a Partner within the Firm and is a leading workers compensation lawyer in the state of Tennessee. He regularly handles Worker’s Compensation claims at all levels of the claims process for Glassman, Wyatt, Tuttle & Cox, PC. Kyle also regularly helps on other firm matters involving business litigation, personal injury, professional legal malpractice defense, premises liability, collection law and other litigation areas. In his career, Kyle has assisted his clients in a number of ways, including:
- Handled over 750 Worker’s Compensation claims on behalf of employers across the State of Tennessee, including before courts and administrative tribunals
- Served as trial counsel in multiple Worker’s Compensation trials
- Participated in the appeals process of Worker’s Compensation claims before the Tennessee Special Worker’s Compensation Appeals Panel
- Secured summary judgment on behalf of an employer in a Worker’s Compensation claim based on the complex application of a statute of limitations
- Taken over 100 depositions of medical doctors, registered nurses and expert witnesses
- Assisted in the Worker’s Compensation claim management process on multiple levels, including claim maintenance, mitigation, and settlement approval/resolution
- Served as second chair in a personal injury defense trial helping secure a Defense Jury Verdict for the firm’s client

Kyle is married to Memphis lawyer Amy Cannon, and he is the proud father of Addison Cannon and twins Aiden and Finley Cannon. Kyle is an avid runner, having completed a number of 5k and 10k races and several half marathons.
