The Leo Bearman, Sr. Chapter of the American Inns of Court invited Firm Shareholder Richard Glassman and Associate William Terrell (an Associate of the Inn) to speak at the first meeting of the 2015-16 year. The focus of the Inn this year is mentorship, specifically between older and younger lawyers. The first program in this year’s series was entitled “Mentoring Kick Off Program.” Richard and William were invited by the Inn to discuss their almost 20 year mentoring relationship and how lawyers can benefit from entering into a mentor/mentee relationship.
American Inns of Court (AIC) are designed to improve the skills, professionalism and ethics of the bench and bar. An American Inn of Court is an amalgam of judges, lawyers, and in some cases, law professors and law students. Each Inn meets approximately once a month to hold programs and discussions on matters of ethics, skills and professionalism.
