In 2012, the University of Memphis awarded Glassman, Wyatt, Tuttle & Cox, P.C. Senior Shareholder Richard Glassman the University of Memphis Distinguished Alumni Award.

The Distinguished Alumni Awards are presented for achievement and service. The purpose of the Distinguished Alumni Award is to publicly recognize alumni for distinguished personal and career accomplishments and for exemplary contributions to society that bring credit to the University of Memphis. Additionally, the Distinguished Alumni Award publicly honors alumni who have performed distinguished service for The University of Memphis through cumulative contributions or by an extraordinary act or effort that advances the University.

The 2012 Awards Ceremony was entitled the Centennial Awards Event for the University, and other award recipients include Memphis accountant and alumni Bill Watkins of the Watkins | Uiberall CPA firm, Memphis basketball great Penny Hardaway and others.  Photographs of the Event can be Found Here.
